A conflict occurring in public space, usually media-related, characterized by a negative situation that evokes extreme emotions. Drama typically begins with a hysterical reaction from an individual or group to someone else’s behavior. It has a foundational backstory around which a long-term problem develops. Dramas are often artificially created by celebrities seeking attention to gain media exposure. A person who constantly creates dramas around themselves is referred to as a “drama queen” (see also ż atencjusz, atencjuszka).
