This word was submitted in the PWN poll for Youth Word of the Year 2016. It appears in both its original form and a fully adapted Polish version. In colloquial English, the word also means ‘love, passion, obsession.’ When referring to a female, it sometimes appears in the form of ‘girl crush’ or ‘crushi.’ See also: mieć na kogoś krasza.
